Matrix Rain Effect

Falling streams of glyphs lit by your image or video. Export a still, or a clip that rains the same way every time.

Matrix rain is the falling code from the film: columns of glyphs that drop down the screen, bright at the head and fading along the tail. Here the rain is lit by your own image or video, so the streams are brighter where the picture is bright and the subject shows through the code.

Size sets the glyph height, Speed and Density how fast and how many streams fall, and Trail how long each tail is. Image controls how much the picture shapes the rain and Backdrop how much of it shows behind. The tail and head colors are yours to change, and the Ice preset gives a cold blue take. A seed fixes the arrangement, so an export rains the same way every time.

Export a still, or a loop as MP4, WebM or GIF. Everything renders in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
