Ruben Ireland is a graphic artist and illustrator based in London. Using a fusion of traditional techniques and digital processing, he creates thoughtful, dreamlike images that carry emotional weight, along with a relevance to daily life. To create his work, he uses ink, acrylic, dirty water, foods, weathered paper, as well as digital tools like Photoshop and a Wacom tablet.
Ireland studied fine art and illustration and is mostly self-taught in the methods of photo-manipulation. His approach to illustration combines his artistic background with the post-processing techniques of contemporary photography. Ireland has shown his work from London to Los Angeles.
